One person was shot, but they are expected to be okay, Chester County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 9.

Just after midnight on Sunday, a 17-year-old boy was arrested at a residence on Mclinton Road.

Veteran crime reporter, Glenn Counts talked to neighbors who heard the gunshots in the area.

“I hear multiple gunshots go off, so I come out of the house and I go what in the world is going on and the only thing i can think of is, Lord, don’t let anyone be hurt or anything,” neighbor James Prendergast said.

Officials say he’s charged with 4 counts of attempted murder. Neighbors told Counts this is the second shooting they’ve seen in the complex and they’re growing frustrated.

“We just need to stop the guns from coming in,” Prendergast said.

Due to his age, his name won’t be released at this time. Channel 9 asked the Chester County Sheriff’s Office what led to the shooting.
