Three killed in weekend Antioch fatal shooting were from Atlanta, Nashville police say

Nashville police have determined that the three men killed in a weekend Antioch shooting were from Atlanta.

Officers were called after 11 p.m. Friday by an Atlanta man on behalf of a Spanish-speaking man about a shooting at a home on Bart Drive. The call came more than 30 minutes after the shooting happened, police said in a Monday news release.

At the scene, police found one man dead on the front porch and two others dead inside the home. One of the men was identified Monday as 22-year-old Jesus Gallardo-Ramirez. A second victim was identified as a 48-year-old but police are withholding his name pending notification of next of kin.

Efforts were continuing Monday to identify the third man.

Police said the home was sparsely furnished and sold in recent months. A person in Atlanta was leasing the property, police said in the Monday statement.

At about 10:30 p.m. Friday, two of the victims and a woman arrived at the home in a white, Honda sedan with a temporary Georgia tag to meet the third victim. Shortly after, several people approached the home, shot one man on the porch, entered the home and fired on the other two men, investigators say.

The suspects ran from the home, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the woman didn’t run out with the suspects, and she’s thought to have left through a back door, police said.

“Her identity and whereabouts are not known,” police said. “The MNPD continues to urge her to come to any police station to meet with detectives and receive help.”

A fourth man who police said Saturday is connected to the case was found at an apartment complex on Wallace Road with a gunshot wound to his hip. He is being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

“It was initially reported that he was shot while riding a bicycle Friday night in the area of Bart Drive,” an MNPD statement said on Saturday afternoon. “Detectives have not yet been able to speak with him to confirm that due to his medical condition.”

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
