Amazon’s bestselling Shark stick vacuum is a splashy 40% off ahead of Prime Day

Shark Week might be wrapping up tomorrow, but you’d never know it by heading over to Amazon. The retailer is swimming with early Prime Day Shark vacuum deals, including a top-selling robovac that could clean your floors while you enjoy a viewing of Jaws on your couch. Plus, we spotted a No. 1 bestselling stick vacuum that’s down to its all-time lowest price, along with several best prices of 2024.

You might be thinking, “But, doesn’t Prime Day start next week?” And you’d be correct — Amazon’s biggest sales event of the year is slated for July 16-17. But everyone’s favorite online retailer decided to gift us some early Prime Day deals, and we shopping editors have been tracking prices all week to ensure you’re browsing only the very best markdowns.

These Shark Prime Day sales are some of the most worthwhile we’re seeing when it comes to cleaning appliances: From lightweight stick vacuums and hands-off robovacs to upright models and steam mops, there’s an option to suit all types of cleaning preferences. All we can say is, you’re gonna need a bigger cart!

Stick vacs are sweeping the nation, thanks to their maneuverability and lightweight design. This No. 1 bestseller clocks in at under 7 pounds, and because it’s battery-powered, you won’t be tripping over cords or searching for unused outlets. Plus, it runs for up to 40 minutes and has a pop-out hand vac you can use for cleaning stairs, furniture, the inside of your car … oh, and the LED headlights help ensure you don’t miss any dust in those dark corners.

This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen it on sale for — in fact, a refurbished one is only a few dollars less at Walmart.

“I have been buying and using vacuums for over 60 years, and this Shark cordless stick vacuum is by far the best I have ever owned,” wrote a content cleaner. “It is so lightweight and goes easily from hardwood to area rugs … I use it almost every day and no longer dread having to drag out a heavy vacuum. The dirt canister is easy to empty and does not require bags. The handheld vacuum is also easy to use. Great product!”

And for a hands-off cleaning option? Look no further than this popular (as in, over 20,000 sold in the past month) robovac. It’s currently within a few bucks of its lowest-ever sale price — just over 50% off — and while I could go on about its strong suction and mapping abilities, the star feature is the self-emptying base, which will hold up to 60 days’ worth of debris so you’re not touching any dirt or dust.

The only ones we’re seeing for less at other retailers are either restored or in open-box condition.

“Prior to purchasing this one, I was running a Roomba and another off-brand robot vac, but they were both a pain to clean and maintain,” explained a buyer. “I have three big dogs and my floors are always dirty. This vac does an amazing job and I love that it finds its base with ease, unlike the other two. I’ve been running it 2-3 times a day for the past two weeks and haven’t had to clean the brushes once. I love that I can run it at night and have it only vacuum certain areas without going down the hallway and waking people up. This is seriously the best thing I’ve ever bought off of Amazon.”

We usually want to avoid sharks during the summer, but we’ll make an exception for this top-selling stick vac that’s nearly 50% off. It’s certainly much lighter than a Great White — just 7 pounds — and since it’s corded, you won’t have to worry about running out of juice in the middle of your cleaning sesh. The pop-out hand vac is, well, handy for cleaning higher surfaces too.

While this isn’t the absolute lowest price we’ve seen, it’s one of the best this year, and we’re not seeing it for less at other major retailers.

“I thought my old vacuum wasn’t getting all the dog hair picked up, and now I have confirmation!” shared a shopper. “This vacuum definitely gets the dog hair out of the carpet. I have hardwood floors and area rugs. It effortlessly goes from area rug to hardwood floors. My favorite part is I’m not chasing dog hair around with a broom. It sucks it up quickly. It is lightweight and easy to switch attachments. I originally bought this for my dad but kept it for a week trying it out. Loved it so much, I bought myself one.”

This model is less bulky than many uprights, so you can take it with you from room to room without it feeling like a workout. And when you have to get into those elevated spaces like stairs, furniture and your car, the lift-away detachable pod allows you to clean them with ease. It also has a HEPA filter that’ll help trap irritants in the air while in use.

Our price trackers tell us it hasn’t dipped any lower this year.

“Very easy to assemble, this is a sturdy and powerful vacuum,” raved a user. “I like the extra-long cord and the ability to adjust suction power depending on the flooring. I had a Dyson for many years but just couldn’t justify the price tag on another new one. I am very pleased with this Shark.”

Ditch the heavy bucket for this sleek, wildly popular steam mop, which relies on hot water alone to dislodge crusty residue and sanitize your floors. According to the brand, it combats 99.9% of bacteria without the use of harsh chemicals, and it’s safe to use on any type of sealed hard floor.

This is the lowest price we’ve seen since Black Friday, FYI.

“This is way more powerful than I expected,” wrote an impressed reviewer. “There was stuff on my hardwood kitchen floor that I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed that wouldn’t come up. This took it right up with no effort. Highly recommend this product.”
