Ana Navarro will speak at the DNC — but there’s one topic that’s off limits: report

As any fan of hers already knows, Ana Navarro is not once to mince words or hold back.

But as the host of Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Tuesday night, the Coral Gables-based political pundit will actually be reined in.

A bit.

Despite her job as a panelist on “The View,” she can’t bring up the longtime ABC morning show. Like, at all, Variety reports.

The reason? Navarro is an “opinion-focused contributor” to the daily chatfest, not a traditional journalist.

ABC News declined to comment on the matter, but don’t expect any funny stories about Joy, Whoopi, Sunny, or the rest of the gals.

That’s OK, we are confident Navarro will find other things to talk about.

We definitely know of at least one topic that will be broached: That would be Navarro’s beloved dog, ChaCha, whom she shares with husband Al Cardenas, former chairman of the Republican Party of Florida.

The 52-year-old Nicaraguan more or less brings her pet everywhere, and that naturally includes the large Democrat gathering, which works to unify the party and support Vice President Kamala Harris’ run for the White House.

On Instagram just hours before her 8 p.m. start time, Navarro posted a rehearsal picture with the adorable pooch at the podium.

“Practicing our lines,” said the firebrand’s caption alongside the furball, which has her own Instagram account, with 33K plus followers.

In all seriousness, Navarro is proud of her moment in the sun.

“I’m beyond myself to have this role today,” said Navarro on Tuesday’s edition of “CNN News Central,” holding back tears. “I’m a little refugee girl who fled communism in Nicaragua…I just wish my mom was here to see it.”

The former GOP-er shared the emotional interview to her Instagram, telling followers, “Hope I got it out of my system so I can hold it together tonight.”
