Some of Fourth of July activities canceled due to weather; several still scheduled

The Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau on Wednesday announced that some of the activities taking place for the Fourth of July in Albert Lea have been canceled due to weather conditions.
Among those canceled are the Bayside Ski Show and Pelican Breeze cruises scheduled for Thursday, as well as the boat parade scheduled for Saturday, all due to high water.
Other activities still slated include the following:
Wednesday
Noon to 8 p.m.: Food vendors in the North Broadway parking lot
2 to 5 p.m.: Mobile sign shop at Central Park
6 p.m.: Parade
7:30 p.m.: Live music at 112 on Broadway featuring Dariel
9 p.m.: Block party at Harold’s Bar
Thursday
Noon to 8 p.m.: Food vendors in the North Broadway parking lot
2 to 6 p.m.: Cara show on Broadway
6 p.m.: Food trucks at Frank Hall Park
8 p.m.: Community Band at Fountain Lake Park Gazebo
10 p.m.: Fireworks (rain date is Friday)
Friday
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Flea market at the fairgrounds
Noon to 8 p.m.: Food vendors in the North Broadway parking lot
8 p.m.: Street dance at 112 on Broadway with live music from Will Barnett & Company
Saturday
9 a.m. to noon: Farmers market
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Flea market at the fairgrounds
Noon to 8 p.m.: Food vendors in the North Broadway parking lot
7:30 p.m.: “Journey Down Legends Lane”
Sunday
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Flea market at the fairgrounds
