The uniform pants Tom Brady wore during his final NFL game in 2023 were auctioned off for $89,100, according to Grey Flannel Auctions.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback, who hung up his jersey for good on Feb. 1, 2023, after 23 seasons, wore the size 34 pewter and red colored pants for the Buccaneers on Jan. 16, 2023, when the Cowboys dominated Tampa Bay, 34-14, in Dallas’ wild-card playoff win.
Brady threw a career-high 66 passes and completed 35 of them for 351 yards in those pants.
The minimum bid for the game-worn Nike trousers was set at $10,000, and the winner of the auction beat out 14 other bidders.
One bid was announced as $67,500, per the Grey Flannel Auction Instagram account.
The pants feature a handwritten message on the inside of the waistband, “1-16-23 vs. Cowboys,” along with a Buccaneers No. 12 tag, a nod to Brady’s jersey number.
The bidding window closed on Sunday.
Brady spent the first 20 seasons of his prolific NFL career with the Patriots, winning six championships for New England. He joined the Buccaneers for the 2020 season and won his final Super Bowl in 2021.
He currently lives in Florida but has multiple homes in various locations including, Los Angeles.
Brady, 46, will become Fox Sports’ lead NFL analyst this fall after agreeing to a $375 million contract with the network in 2022. He’ll be in the booth with Kevin Burkhardt, who worked alongside former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.
The former quarterback will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday at Gillette Stadium beginning at 7 p.m.
