UNC vs. LSU: How to watch, channel, streaming

Trying to make plans on how to watch the Tar Heels play in this particular spot is always difficult. ESPN is the sole provider for broadcast coverage in the NCAA Baseball Championship, and with sixteen regional sites all having games happening on Sunday evening, they have to try and pick the ones that will have the broadest interest to the most viewers.

Unfortunately for those of us who want to know right now, that means they have to wait and see who wins all of the first games that start out the day to know what exact matchups they have to plan on.

So, here’s what we do know:

  • Carolina does not play until 6 PM
  • The game will be at Boshamer Stadium
  • They will either play Wofford for the first time or LSU for the second
  • No matter what—if any—channel the game is in, you can stream the game on ESPN + or listen to it on the Tar Heels Sports Network.

Boshamer should be electric either way, as the Tar Heels know a win will keep them in Chapel Hill next weekend for a best-of-three series in the Super Regional. They’d face the winner of the Tucson region, and as an extra bonus, the Tucson winner won’t be 13th-seeded Arizona. The Wildcats were eliminated by Dallas Baptist yesterday, meaning the Tar Heels would see Dallas Baptist, West Virginia, or Grand Canyon Univserity next weekend.

But that’s for next weekend. In order to make those plans, you have to win this weekend. While they have a tremendous advantage of just needing to win one game and their opponent needing to win two, you’d rather not go into a winner-take-all game on Monday.

Keep an eye on this space throughout the day. As we learn the channel and the opponent, we’ll update this info below.
