Warner Bros to delist one Adult Swim Xbox game this month with three more still uncertain

Earlier this year, it was reported that Warner Bros. Discovery could delist several games published through its Adult Swim Games label. Since then, there has been confirmation that a couple of the games are now safe, but while one game has already been announced as soon to be delisted, up to four Adult Swim Xbox games in total could be delisted from the Microsoft Store on July 15. While none of these titles have made it onto our list of the best Xbox indie games, it always sucks to see games disappear for good.

Warner Bros. Discovery could delist several Adult Swim games on July 15

As reported by Delisted Games, things have changed somewhat since it was reported earlier this year that five Adult Swim Games titles were at risk of being delisted from the Microsoft Store. In May, Polygon reported that Warner Bros. planned to transfer ownership of some of the games back to the developers, but it’s currently unclear how successful it has been. Right now, four Adult Swim games have had recent Steam updates confirming that they will be delisted on July 15, one of which is also available on Xbox: Mega Coin Squad.

“Adult Swim is no longer able to continue as publisher for this game and the developer is not available to take over as publisher at this time,” the Steam announcement reads. “As a result, Mega Coin Squad will be shut down on July 15th, 2024.”

Mega Coin Squad is the only game from the original delisting report that is confirmed to be shut down this month, but there has been an unsettling silence from some of the other games reportedly on the docket. Right now, it appears that the following Xbox games could potentially be delisted on July 15, along with more for Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch:

Delisted Games suggests that Rise & Shine and PC-only Kingsway — as well as six more games on other platforms — are now safe from the delistings as they have found new publishers.

In other delisting news, EA is set to delist Battlefield 3 and all of its DLC soon, and will shut down the Xbox 360 servers for some other Battlefield games.
