Where to watch Mexico vs. Bolivia live stream, TV channel, lineups, prediction for international friendly

Mexico Men’s National Team coach Jaime Lozano will get his first chance to see the future of El Tri in person in the first of three friendly matches ahead of Copa America.

Mexico are set to face Bolivia on Friday, May 31 at Soldier Field in Chicago, with the core of Mexico’s Under-23 Men’s National Team set to be utilized in this match. With Mexico’s European-based players getting a short break after a long season as well as those from Club America and Cruz Azul who played the Liga MX clausura final last week, Lozano is turning to the next generation of stars to determine who may make the last few roster spots at Copa America, and who could make a name for themselves ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Midfielder Jordan Carrillo, defender Victor Guzman, and forward Cesar Huerta are all players who could feature against Bolivia.

Bolivia meanwhile will reportedly be a little undermanned as well, with some of their veterans still playing in international competitions in South America with their domestic clubs. Additionally, one injury replacement, Henry Vaca, has himself just been injured during a game for Bolivar, and he’s pulled out of the match against Mexico.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Marcelo Flores has been ruled out of the match due to injury, but could be fit for Mexico’s next match on June 5 against Uruguay in Denver, Colo.

Mexico vs. Bolivia prediction

Based on talent disparity alone, Mexico should be able to power past Bolivia without much of a problem. But with some of the next generation fighting for a place in the Copa America squad, there will be plenty of motivated players out there to win it for El Tri.

Prediction: Mexico 2-0 Iceland
