AirPods seamlessly pair and sync with iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMac desktops and the Apple TV streaming box. Once juiced, your Pods are good to go — no scrolling, no fiddling with settings. They’re even ready to pair with all your Apple devices via your Apple iCloud account. That’s what sets these buds apart. Well, that, plus crystal-clear audio and a super-sleek design.

You can expect about five hours of battery life per charge, and more with the wireless charging case. How does the wireless charging case work? And if you’re accident prone, these are durable enough to handle it: “Accidentally went through not only the washing machine but dryer too and they still work! Great quality. Best in my opinion as someone who’s owned JBL, Beats and Jaybird wireless earbuds. These are the best hands down.”

If you already have the second-generation AirPods and don’t think there’s a need to upgrade, some fans would disagree. “I got the upgrade, not expecting much difference. But I was shocked to find out how much different they were, and how much better they were!”

Cons 👎

Of course, it’s not all sunshine and roses. Some users reported that the AirPods wouldn’t always stay in their ears. “My only complaint is the bud itself is bigger, and it will slide out of your ears if you are moving around a lot or working out. This may not be an issue with some people, but my ears are pretty average.”

Other reviewers back up that complaint. “They are much wider than the previous versions and fall out of my ears constantly. I decided to buy the silicone covers in the hopes that they keep them in my ears.”
