ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4080 SUPER priced at £1,350 in the UK, 40% above NVIDIA MSRP

European retailers start listing RTX 40 SUPER series

Retailers in the UK and Finland list custom RTX 40 SUPER series, revealing massive price tags for high-end RTX 4080 models.

Over at OverclockersUK, they’ve got the lineup for RTX 4070 SUPER covered with five options, while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER models add up to nine in total of RTX 40 SUPER series. OCUK tends to ride on the pricier side, but thanks to NVIDIA’s push for ‘MSRP’ models, even they are compelled to play along. However, the MSRP magic only shines on two cards in OCUK’s deck.

The RTX 4070 SUPER is priced between £579 and £690. If you’re eyeing that DUAL OC version in white by ASUS, you’ll need to drop £690, which is £90 above the MSRP. However, for the budget-conscious gamers, there’s a black edition available, saving you £40 in the process.

GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB MSRP: $599/€659/£579

  • ZOTAC Twin Edge: £578.99
  • ZOTAC Trinity Black: £599.99
  • ASUS DUAL: £599.99
  • ASUS DUAL OC: £649.99
  • ASUS DUAL OC White: £689.99

Now, shifting gears to the RTX 4070 Ti one can’t see any NVIDIA MSRP deals here. The entry ticket into 4070TiS SKU is held by the Trinity OC Black from ZOTAC, standing at £780, just £10 above the MSRP. If you’re into the aesthetics, its white counterpart will set you back an extra £20.

ASUS lineup baseline is set by TUF OC, demanding £900, and surprisingly, its white edition follows suit at the same price point. ASUS sure knows how to keep things consistent, even if it means a bit of a dent in your wallet.

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB MSRP: $799/€889/£769

  • ZOTAC Trinity OC Black: £779.99
  • ZOTAC Trinity OC White: £799.99
  • ASUS TUF OC: £899.99
  • ASUS TUF OC White: £899.99

Looking at the RTX 4080 SUPER scene, there’s the Trinity OC Black hanging out at £959. And if you’re into the whole white GPU aesthetic, there’s a version for an extra £60. Meanwhile, ASUS TUF OC sits comfortably at £1,200. However, that seems nothing compared to ROG STRIX which asks for a hefty £1,350 sum. No surprises there; ROG STRIX does have a reputation for being expensive, but did anyone over at OCUK or ASUS miss the memo about the 17% discount for the SUPER version?

GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB MSRP: $999/€1109/£959

  • ZOTAC Trinity OC Black: £959.99
  • ZOTAC Trinity OC White: £1,019.99
  • ASUS TUF OC: £1,199.99
  • ASUS TUF OC White: £1,349.99

Now, those eyeing RTX 4080 SUPER in Finland, let’s throw in some intel from retailer Jimmy’s. Here one should note that Finland has a higher MSRP than most countries in the Eurozone due to higher VAT. Which in the case of RTX 4080 SUPER means €1,149 price, not €1,109 like one can see for Germany or France. Here the most expensive card is AORUS MASTER from Gigabyte takes the crown as the priciest at €1,360, soaring over 18% above the NVIDIA MSRP. The SUPRIM X from MSI will cost €1,299 so just 13% above NVIDIA MSRP.

Keep in mind, the pricing might not be set in stone yet, especially since the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 4080 SUPER are gearing up for launch in the following weeks. Fingers crossed for some more budget-friendly options from other brands and retailers.
