Why is it a good deal?

At $13.50, this just might be the lowest price Bean Envy MCT Oil Powder has ever been. It dropped to $18 in September, and we’re well below that. Basically, you’ll want to load up at this rock-bottom price while you can.

Why do I need this?

There are a few major ingredients in the Bean Envy MCT Oil Powder — MCT oil, collagen and acacia — and each does something a little different.

“MCT oil, or medium chain triglyceride oil, is a type of fat that’s more easily digested and absorbed by the body compared to long-chain triglycerides,” Scott Keatley, R.D., co-owner of Keatley Medical Nutrition Therapy, tells Yahoo Life. “Due to its rapid absorption, MCT oil can provide a quick source of energy, particularly for the brain.”

Oral collagen is “believed to support skin health by promoting elasticity and hydration,” Keatley says, noting that it may also help improve skin appearance, reduce signs of aging and maintain joint and bone health. (Worth noting, per Keatley: Oral collagen is “not universally accepted as a skin miracle-worker. The digestive system breaks down collagen into amino acids, and it’s still a matter of debate how effectively these amino acids reassemble into collagen in the skin.”)

Acacia is a soluble source of fiber, Keatley explains. “It can support digestive health by promoting regular bowel movements and may also help lower cholesterol levels,” he says. “Additionally, it’s a prebiotic, which means it feeds the beneficial bacteria in the gut, potentially promoting a healthier gut microbiome.”

There are things to keep in mind with all of these ingredients, though. “While MCT oil has various potential benefits, it’s not a magic bullet,” Keatley says. “Consuming it in excessive amounts can lead to gastrointestinal distress, including diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps.” Acacia can also lead to gas, bloating and diarrhea, he says. (That’s why Bean Envy suggests on the label that you start with a small dose and see how you do before ramping things up.)

Bean Envy’s power is designed to be used in coffee, smoothies and shakes — just add a scoop, mix it up and enjoy. While the powder comes in a vanilla flavor, this supplement is also available in chocolate, cinnamon, pumpkin spice and unflavored options, all of which are also on sale.

What reviewers say

More than 5,000 Amazon shoppers rave about Bean Envy’s MCT Oil Powder. “Sooo yummy,” said one fan. “Turns my coffee to a real treat.” Another satisfied shopper said this powder makes a “gourmet concoction” when it’s added to their coffee.

A fellow happy customer raved about how the powder makes them feel. “I’ve been using this every day and love the energy and how full it keeps me feeling,” they said. “I’m losing weight easier but I also restricted my carb intake a lot and I think the two combined are working very well.”

Several keto followers give the Bean Envy powder props, too. “This satisfies me and keeps me full for the whole morning. It curbs my sweets cravings that I get while on keto,” shared one. “Within the first month of using this, I noticed that I could actually go to the bathroom — I struggle with IBS and other GI issues. My stomach somehow looked and felt less bloated after using this, which is amazing. It has also helped me with energy, which is so amazing because I get crazy fatigue from health issues that I have. I just can’t stop talking about how much I love this stuff.”
