Ever since news broke about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s tumultuous breakup, many have wondered how their kids have been doing throughout it all. Over the years, we’ve come to find how their eldest children feel about their parents (with Maddox, Pax, and Zahara dropping hints about how they feel about their dad). Now, in 2024, insiders claim that Pitt is “holding out hope” that his eldest children will come around, and form a bond with him.
“They don’t speak to him anymore,” an insider said to OK. “It’s pretty awkward because their siblings have cut them out of their lives. But he’s holding out hope that they’ll eventually come around.”

They added that Pitt is “anxious to move on and put the past behind him,” and how Jolie has continued to make “jabs at him in the press, constantly talking about how she’s spent years healing from the pain he caused the family.”
While he’s rather estranged from his three eldest children, his and Jolie’s custody agreement allows him to see his three youngest. In fact, they’ve been pictured with Pitt in recent months, so it seems things are relatively fine with them.
However, the road to mending with his eldest children may not happen since Maddox reportedly testified in court against him, Pax ripped Pitt apart on social media, and Zahara dropped “Pitt” from her last name.
For those who don’t know, Jolie and Pitt welcomed and adopted six children total named Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15. While all of the kids seem super close with Angelina, most of them don’t seem like they’ve been in contact with Brad much since his and Jolie’s divorce.
