Clippers officially recall one player from G League

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both set to play on Wednesday night in San Antonio, the star duo will be tying their most consecutive games played together since joining the LA Clippers.

With such consistency to start the season and with guys finally acclimating to playing with one another, the Clippers are finding their groove. They can pick up their third straight win when they face the Spurs.

Additionally, there will be one more player previously with the G League team set to re-join the Clippers on Wednesday: Kobe Brown. He had been assigned to the Ontario Clippers nine days ago to get extra reps in, and now he will be back with the big league club.

In two games with Ontario, Kobe Brown averaged 15 points and four rebounds in an average of 31 minutes per night. After being drafted by the Clippers with the 30th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Brown projects as a three-and-D player that could make his way into LA’s rotation soon.

With his scoring ability and shooting efficiency, many fans have been calling for Head Coach Tyronn Lue to play Brown over the likes of P.J. Tucker, who has been struggling offensively for the Clippers since he arrived in town.
