What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: I’ll be building for a scenario where the weather narrative is overblown and both teams are able to execute their offense fairly normally. I think the Dolphins can pull this game out, particularly if they have and back healthy.

headChopper: My favorite game script is that weather affects the game and we see more running than normal from both teams. The short passing game is more in play than the long passing game in this script.

kmurray03: There is going to be a lot of talk about the weather in this game, and while I am sure it’ll be uncomfortable for these players, I like building around more points being scored than the public is expecting. The total still sits at 44.5, so oddsmakers still seem to think both of these teams should be expected to score at least 2 TDs each.

TJ Zwarych: Cold weather doesn’t impact scoring nearly as much as wind and precipitation, so I’m not worried about the offenses in this game. I think both teams lean on the running game heavily and put up points when they get in the red zone. , , De’Von Achane, and (if he plays) will be my main targets.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

squirrelpatrol: I’ll play the larger-field tournaments and aim to be overweight on the Dolphins. I think they’ll go under-owned, but this is a close spread, and they have as much talent on offense as any team in the league.

headChopper: I’ll enter 20 lineups in 20-max and have those same 20 lineups sprinkled in some larger GPPs. My main game script that will set me apart is being very underweight on and the long passing game for Miami and overweight on both Miami RBs.

kmurray03: Large Field – I’ll be using SimLabs in large-field contests to beat my opponents. I will definitely want to be overweight on guys like and in those builds.

TJ Zwarych: 3-Entry Max – I like the idea of building a single-entry/cash style lineup with at CPT/MVP and then doing some 3-entry-max lineups with each of the RBs in the CPT/MVP position. De’Von Achane and are both projecting for single-digit ownership at CPT/MVP, so I’ll go Dolphins-heavy on those lineups while using as my CPT/MVP on the final team.

What is an example of one rule you can program into SimLabs or LineupHQ to capitalize on the above strategies?

squirrelpatrol: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group > Players to use: 2 to 3 > Use Conditional Player MVP/CPT > Add Miami WRs and TEs as players in the group

headChopper: LineupHQ > Player Pool > / De’Von Achane > Mn% > Set to 20% OVER the projected ownership for each player

kmurray03: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group > Conditional Player = CPT/MVP > Pair with 1-1

TJ Zwarych: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group > Use 1-1 Players in Every Lineup > De’Von Achane, De’Von Achane CPT/MVP, , CPT/MVP

What is your hottest take for this game?

squirrelpatrol: throws for 300 yards despite the weather conditions.

headChopper: fails to reach 50 yards receiving.

kmurray03: and combine for 3+ TDs.

TJ Zwarych: Both teams go for 175+ rushing yards, and has 2 TDs.

Predict the final score of the game.

squirrelpatrol: MIA 28 – KC 27

headChopper: KC 20 – MIA 17

kmurray03: KC 28 – MIA 24

TJ Zwarych: MIA – 27 – KC 23
