‘Gen V’ star Chance Perdomo dead at 27 after motorcycle accident

Chance Perdomo, known for his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and Andre Anderson in Amazon Prime’s “Gen V,” died Saturday after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was 27.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident,” a rep told Variety.

“Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” the statement continued. “We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

It is currently unknown where the accident occurred.

The Post reached out to the LAPD for comment.

Perdomo, who was born in Los Angeles but raised in Southampton, England, rose to fame after starring in “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” from 2018 to 2020.

The actor also starred in a 2018 TV film called “Killed by My Debt,” which earned him a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

Shortly after his stint in “Sabrina,” Perdomo joined the cast of “Gen V” which served as a spin-off for the hit Amazon Prime series “The Boys.”

According to Variety, the show’s second season has been paused indefinitely in the wake of his sudden passing.

Since the news of his passing broke, several of Perdomo’s co-stars have taken to social media to express their sadness over the actor’s death.

“This hurts. A lot. What a young talented actor, and a great friend – gone way too soon. Was a pleasure to work with him in ‘Gen V.’ RIP Chance,” Patrick Schwarzenegger, who also starred in “Gen V,” wrote on X ( formerly Twitter).

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this,” the producers of “Gen V” shared on X. “For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”

“Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense,” they continued. “We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

In the same statement, Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television also sent thier own condolences to Perdomo’s family.

“The entire ‘Gen V’ family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo,” the studio wrote. “Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time.”

Several cast members of “The Boys” including Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty and Karen Fukuhara reposted the statement on their Instagram stories.

Ted Sarandos, Co-CEO of Netflix, also shared a moving Instagram tribute to Perdomo.

“Chance was a gifted young actor lost too early. He was so great to work with on ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.’ Everyone at Netflix is sending love and strength to Chance’s entire family and his big family of friends,” he wrote on the social media site.
