The first step to acquiring the Legendary Rocket Launcher is finding the schematic for the weapon. It is not a guaranteed drop, but here is the quickest way to try and get the Schematic:

• 1. Head to the coordinates -789, -321, which will take you to the northwest area of the Volcanic Region.
• 2. Located here is the Jetragon Alpha Pal Boss.
• 3. Kill or Capture the Jetragon Alpha Pal.
• 4. Once you have completed Step 3, the Rocket Launcher Schematic 4 has a chance to drop.
• 5. Use the Schematic to craft the Legendary Rocket Launcher at any Primitive or better Workbench.

The Jetragon Alpha boss will be a level 50 and Dragon-type, so make sure to bring your best Ice-type Pals to take it down easily. If you don’t get the Rocket Launcher Schematic 4, the boss should respawn in the same location in under an hour, so you can keep repeating the steps until you obtain the Legendary Rocket Launcher.
