Jason Kelce has opted against choosing Taylor Swift as his dream podcast guest amid fears his brother Travis will ‘kill him’ – as the world continues to talk about the Chiefs star’s high-profile new relationship.
The love story of Travis and Taylor has dominated the news cycle in recent weeks, with the tight end regularly opening up about his romance on his podcast alongside brother Jason.
Jason was this week asked who his dream podcast guest is… and it is perhaps of little surprise that he considered his brother’s girlfriend Taylor among the top names.
‘I think it’s interesting to talk to… ah man,’ he began, as he deliberated over his answer. ‘I’m going to keep it easy… I can’t say Taylor Swift, come on. It’s too obvious and Travis will kill me.
‘I’ll go my Aunt Judy, we’ve got to get my Aunt Judy on the podcast!’
Despite the snub for Aunt Judy, it would perhaps not be a huge surprise if Taylor did one day pop up for a chat on New Heights alongside Travis and Jason, as the popularity of the podcast goes from strength to strength.
It should be noted that even before Travis’ romance with the pop superstar, the pair frequently found themselves at the top of the podcast charts – although it is hard to deny the impact Travis’ love life has had on their success.
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs man bought a new $6million mansion in the suburbs of the city as he searches for more privacy amid his high-profile relationship.
However, it doesn’t seem like too much of a price to pay for love as the NFL icon will also enjoy the luxury of a waterfall, swimming pool and mini golf course at his new pad.
His new abode, located in the Leawood suburb of Kansas City, was previously owned by a prominent Kansas City-area medical malpractice lawyer and listed in September 2022 for $6.9 million, according to Kansas City Business Journal.
The property, built in 1998, boasts six bedrooms, six baths, and sprawls across 17,000 sq ft.
The world is currently waiting to see whether Taylor will turn up for a fourth Kansas City Chiefs game, having attended three of his last four games – two of which at Arrowhead.
She first attended one of Travis’ games against the Chicago Bears, before turning up at MetLife a week later to see him face the New York Jets.
She then missed the game in Minnesota against the Vikings, before returning to Kansas City for the Broncos matchup.
The Chiefs, interestingly, are 3-0 with Taylor in attendance, and on Sunday face the Chargers looking to continue their good form.
It has not yet been made clear whether Taylor will remain in LA as she continues preparations for the next leg of her worldwide Eras tour, or jump on her private jet to Kansas City to support her man once more.
