Jay Leno has issued an update on his wife Mavis’s health following her dementia diagnosis and subsequent conservatorship.

The former “Tonight Show” host and his wife of nearly 44 years beamed from ear to ear as they enjoyed a date night at the premiere of Netflix’s “Unfrosted” in Hollywood on Tuesday.

Their outing came just three weeks after an LA County Superior Court judge granted Leno, 74, a conservatorship over his wife.

“I feel great, yeah,” Mavis, 77 told ET on the red carpet.

“Thought I’d come to something fun for a change,” Leno chimed in. “Everything is so controversial. Just to come to a funny, silly movie — it’s great. I think people will have a great time.”

“Well, we hang out every day. We have a great time. 44 years! So we’re doing good,” he added.

The former talk show icon celebrated his 74th birthday Sunday, but told the outlet that he didn’t end up doing anything special to mark the milestone because he’s “not a big birthday guy.”

“Neither of us [are],” Mavis added. “We just have each other.”

“My life is a party anyway, so every day is a good day,” the two-time Emmy winner added.

Leno was last month officially granted conservatorship following her “advanced dementia” diagnosis.

Mavis’ lawyer said she was “in agreement” with the conservatorship during a hearing at Los Angeles County Superior Court. Mavis added that she’s “receiving excellent care with her husband, Mr. Leno.”

“I think she’s in the least restrictive environment,” the judge agreed. “I think she’s in very good care with Mr. Leno.”

The judge then told Leno “everything you’re doing is right” and “I totally understand this is a difficult period.” He added that the TV personality is “fit” for the role.

Earlier this year, Leno briefly spoke about his wife’s ongoing battle.

“She’s fine. Everybody’s good, we’re doing well,” the comedian told the Daily Mail from behind the wheel of his car. “[I] set up a will, in case something happens.”

Leno went on to note that he is in the process of estate planning and looking at his wife’s will.

The couple married in 1980 after meeting at the Comedy Store in the ’70s. They do not have any children.
