The final week of the high school football regular season is here.
This is the last chance for teams to get into the playoffs or improve their MIAA tournament seeding. As of Tuesday’s rankings, 23 South Shore teams were slated to be in the field.
Hanover (Division 5) and Norwell (Div. 6) were No. 1 seeds in their respective divisions. Norwell is 1-2 with South Shore League foe Abington in Div. 6.
Milton (Div. 3) Duxbury (Div 4), Rockland (Div. 7) and Carver (Div. 8) are all currently No. 2 seeds.
The MIAA computes the ratings based on scores entered into Arbiter Live by 4 a.m. on Tuesday. To qualify for the football playoffs, teams need to have at least three wins and seven games player.
