The 10-week Ohio high school football regular season wrapped up Saturday afternoon. For the 700-plus football programs in the state, their goal is to be one of the 448 teams moving on to Week 11 and the Ohio High School Athletic Association state playoffs.
The OHSAA officially released the playoff qualifiers Sunday afternoon, as well as the first-round matchups.
In the Stark County area, 17 teams advanced to the postseason. Here’s the first-round playoff games for area teams. Games will be played Friday night at 7, with seeds 1-8 being the home team.
