Pink stuns crowds as she performs her first Sydney concert in the pouring rain

Rain poured during Pink’s opening concert in Sydney, but that didn’t stop the pop star from putting on a hell of a show.

Fans erupted into cheers on the first night of her Summer Carnival Tour when the Get The Party Started hitmaker, 44, didn’t let the bad weather slow her down.

Instagram accounts dedicated to fawning over the singer shared videos and images of the performer pulling off incredible aerial tricks in the cascade.

‘Giving us one million per cent, even in the heaviest rain,’ one fan captioned their video of Pink spinning high in the air through the ‘drizzle’.

Another shared a black and white photo of the American sitting on a stool in the misty rain as she sang a slow, heartfelt ballad.

‘Slight drizzle. Such a special show,’ they said.

A third fan account shared a lengthy video of Pink dancing as she performed her 2023 hit Never Gonna Not Dance Again in the rain with her backup dancers.

The downpour came just moments after the Grammy-winner briefly stopped her concert to share some sweet words of encouragement to a fan who went into labour.

After seeing a pregnant woman getting wheeled out of her concert by a medic, the  So What hitmaker paused halfway through her performance of Our Song to see what was going on.

Once she discovered the concertgoer was experiencing contractions, the mother-of-two (born Alecia Beth Moore) excitedly tried to find out the baby-to-be’s gender.

‘Is it Alicia or Alex being born? she asked, referencing her birth name, from the stage.

Pink, who admitted she didn’t feel they should ‘be looking’ anymore, urged the crowd to give the woman some ‘privacy.’

‘Wow, Our Song, that was the one that did it. Wouldn’t have called that one! I thought it would’ve been Get The Party Started or Never Not Gonna Dance Again,’ she said.

The performer went on to sweetly congratulate the labouring mother.

‘That’s exciting. I don’t even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It’s gonna be great! You’re gonna do great,’ she shouted.
