The Sacramento Kings have won 4 in a row, the last 3 of which have come on the road. They got down on Monday against Memphis but once they found their game, they took it to the Grizzlies. Big man Domantas Sabonis had another wicked stat line with 20 points and 26 rebounds. It is amazing to me that he is once more in the conversation for MVP.
Miami finally got some scoring from newly-acquired guard Terry Rozier, but it could not bust up its losing streak — now at a surprising 7 games. The Heat have not covered once during this stretch either. They are in a bit of a free fall and being at home might not get things back on track with the Kings coming to town.
Miami has more than enough talent and experience that the losses will eventually stop piling up. However, the Heat have not been sharp at home this season and Sacramento has been very good on the road. Miami is a brutal 8-15 ATS at home this season, while Sacramento is 7-2 ATS just as a road underdog. This one is a very short spread, but with all of the momentum on one side it is hard not to get behind the Kings.
