This game is going to be interesting as High Point is a team that loves to run and push the tempo while piling up points. We need look no further than what they’ve done in this tournament, hanging 93 points in a win over Cleveland State before putting up 81 in Tuesday’s victory. High Point is tough on the glass and they make a living at the free throw line. Nearly a quarter (24.4%) of their points come at the charity stripe as they average 26 free throw attempts (fourth in Division I) and cash in 20.3 free throws (1st) per game this season. Meanwhile, Seattle is 261st by giving up an average of 20.3 free throw attempts per contest this season. The Redhawks are solid defensively but they get hammered on the boards while the Panthers cash in at the charity stripe to earn the victory plus the tournament title.

High Point is an above average team in terms of pace, ranking 99th in adjusted tempo with 68.9 possessions a night. Seattle has seen the under post a 21-14 mark in their 35 games with a posted total this season. The Redhawks are 18th in the nation in effective field goal percentage (46.6%), 44th in field goal percentage defense (41.4%) and 7th in three-point field goal percentage defense (29.7%) on the season.
