Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause defends herself after slamming Jason Oppenheim’s ex for misgendering her partner G Flip

Chrishell Stause has defended herself after she slammed Jason Oppenheim’s ex Marie-Lou Nurk for misgendering her wife Georgia ‘G Flip’ Flipo.

Chrishell, 42, posted a preview clip to Instagram of an argument between herself and Marie-Lou, 25, during season seven of Selling Sunset, set to be released later this week. 

Marie-Lou, who was then dating Jason, 46, confronted the TV personality about not being friendly toward her.

In the video, Marie-Lou says Chrishell didn’t take enough interest in her life and then referred to non-binary G Flip, 30, using she and her pronouns.

Chrishell corrected her and said: ‘My partner’s nonbinary, they use they/them pronouns. This is a simple thing.

‘And this is the depth of our relationship, where the most important person in my life, you don’t know their pronouns, which is totally fine. But my point is that you also don’t know me. I’m not going to be your friend. I don’t have anything in common with you.’

In response to the feud, Chrishell told her X Instagram followers: ‘If you say I am mean to you, apparently you get a storyline on Selling Sunset.

‘THREE people did it this season, and you guys be the judge.

‘Funny that I never once had an issue with any of these people when cameras weren’t around.

‘Remember when I posted the four of us to lunch in Australia. All smiles, nice time? The NEXT time I saw her was this lunch. ON camera.

‘If she said I was nice to her, do you think she would have gotten a storyline & invited to the reunion…. NO’, 

Chrishell then clapped back at the ‘haters’ who bombarded the original clip of the two women arguing. 

She later added: ‘Also to the haters in the comments where this was posted, if you don’t have a partner that would correct pronouns, or correct what you preferred to be called etc. when they know it’s going out to 190 countries…

‘Please raise your standards! 

‘There is only ONE thing I don’t play about and it’s the person that has changed my life for the better.

‘If that makes me less palatable to some. Luckily for you, we aren’t married to each other then.’

Marie Lou and Jason broke up after less than a year of dating in late May.

The co-president of The Oppenheim Group released a statement on social media, which read: ‘While we still love and care about each other very much, the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome.’

‘We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another. We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship,’ he continued. 

 Marie-Lou primarily resides in Paris, where she works as a model, while Jason is based in Los Angeles.

Jason and Marie-Lou were first linked in July 2022 – six months after Jason split from his Selling Sunset co-star Chrishell.

The clip preview comes after G Flip revealed brand new details of their very brief engagement to wife Chrishell after 19 months of dating.

Many believed the couple were not engaged before they shared their impromptu vows, but G Flip set the record straight on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick in September.

‘I haven’t actually shared this before but I actually proposed on the flight over,’ said the star.

They continued: ‘As the plane was taking off I thought, ‘This will be really romantic.’ In the moment, I was like, ‘The plane is taking off, I’ll just take my seatbelt off for a cheeky second.’

‘And mid vert – like vertical, got down on one knee, and did a little speech and then proposed.’

Before dating G Flip, Chrishell was in a relationship with her boss and fellow Selling Sunshine cast mate, Jason.
