SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are responding to a barricaded person at a motel near the Medical Center on the Northwest Side on Thursday morning.
That person is behind a Motel 6 Extended Stay in the 7700 block of Pasteur Court, not far from the Fredericksburg Road and Medical Drive intersection.
Fredericksburg Road is closed to vehicles and pedestrians, as there were reports of shots being fired earlier Thursday morning.
Police are asking nearby residents to stay in their homes.
SWAT officers were seen arriving at around 7 a.m.
