The Fitbit Versa 4 is on sale for just $150 — that’s 25% off

Have you figured out what to get Mom for Mother’s Day? If you’re struggling to find a great gift, put down your usual picks. (Except for flowers. Those are always good.) Instead, consider giving her the Fitbit Versa 4. This is a powerful smartwatch that can track everything from steps taken to how well she sleeps, and it even lets you take calls and texts from your wrist. Right now, it’s marked down to 25% off at Amazon.

This little smartwatch will automatically begin tracking your workouts, measure your heart rate, and so much more. It’s water resistant up to 50 meters and will even work up to 28,000 feet — you know, if mountain climbing is how your family likes to spend time.

This is the lowest price we’ve seen on this Fitbit since February, and it’s only $5 higher than the lowest price we’ve ever seen. It’s also one of the more advanced Fitbit models but carries a lower price tag. For instance, the Fitbit Sense 2 and the Fitbit Charge 6 are both more expensive.

You might think all fitness trackers are the same, but the Fitbit Versa 4 sets itself apart from the pack not only in terms of features but also how accurate its tracking is. The Fitbit Versa 4 has more than 40 exercise modes that range from strength training to kayaking. It has a built-in GPS that will give you real-time pacing and distance measurements for runs or bike rides.

You can also use that GPS to access Google Maps — no more getting lost in unfamiliar areas. You can also load up your Google Wallet and pay for things from your wrist. And speaking of wrists, the Versa 4 has a thin, lightweight design that minimizes how much you’ll sweat while wearing it.

It also tracks sleep, blood oxygen levels, and even gives you a stress management score — although that might not be the most welcome thing in the world on hectic days. It even has Alexa built-in. How’s that for cool?

Tired feet? This Fitbit will tell you exactly how many steps you walked that day. (Amazon)

More than 6,600 people rely on this smartwatch to track their steps.

One fan raved about its tracking capabilities. “It does great at tracking heart rate, calories burned, etc. I hate sleeping with it on, but that’s not so much a slant against the watch as it is my personal preference. When I have slept with it on the sleep tracking feature seems pretty good.”

And if you’re worried about it being unreadable in the sunlight, one user has good news. “It has a bright screen which is readable inside or outside.”

“Lastly, the battery life on this thing is great! I can go a week between charges when I wear it every day. Compared to my wife’s Apple watch (which needs charging daily), it’s awesome,” shared one shopper.

And if that isn’t praise enough, this customer said, “I returned my Apple Watch. This has just about everything you need.”

Some users lamented the lack of third-party app control. “The only downside is, I can’t seem to find a way to control or change my Spotify app from my Fitbit Versa 4 like I could on the Lite version. Not a deal breaker but could be annoying to some.”

One user warned that it works better with Android than iPhone. “The only thing I dislike is that I thought that it had pre-loaded texts to be able to reply to a text from the device but I have an iPhone and I think it’s only possible with Android.”
