If you won’t be able to travel to see the eclipse or go outside when the celestial event happens in those areas, Michiganders will get another chance in 75 years, according to NASA.

The next total solar eclipse that’ll be visible in the United States is Aug. 23, 2044. The path of totality will cross through much of Canada and south into Montana and North Dakota.

After that, another total solar eclipse will cross through the United States on Aug. 12, 2045, with the path of totality passing through California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
