This Halloweekend, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum stood out from the sea of Taylor Swifts and Travis Kelces with their couple’s costume. The duo’s film reference was equal parts creative and funny, and by far one of our favorite looks of the weekend.
The two went as Rosemary Woodhouse and her Satanic spawn from the seminal 1968 horror film Rosemary’s Baby starring Mia Farrow. Kravitz, who wore her hair in a short blonde crop like Farrow’s oft-referenced pixie cut, wore a long white nightgown with a frilly collar, which she paired with white house slippers and a small white bag. The ultimate accessory proved to be her knife, which she clutched in her hand, mimicking the end of the movie. (Also of note, a ring on that finger. Mazel tov to the allegedly engaged couple!)
Tatum, for his part, dressed as the titular character, who, while not onscreen, plays a very important role. But there was nothing scary about the actor, who wore a blue onesie, and tied a white bonnet with yellow frills around his head. Though he did wear a pair of white Vans slip ons and a brown Carhartt fanny pack across his body. While we aren’t sure the son of the Antichrist was rocking skater-friendly apparel, we give Tatum major props for committing to the bit.
